逆奢侈品行业放缓趋势,爱马仕销售额飙升

得益于昂贵的手袋在假日购物季热销,爱马仕的销售额攀升。

爱马仕周五发布公告称,按固定汇率计算,第四季度销售额增长近18%。分析师们此前预期涨幅为11%。中国所属大区和美洲的表现都远好于预期。

爱马仕把Gucci母公司开云集团和LVMH等竞争对手甩在身后,部分原因是其客户是最富群体,在经济低迷时期这类人的支出往往比没那么有钱的客户更加稳定。爱马仕拥有强大的定价能力,其Birkin和Kelly手袋备受追捧、供不应求。

在与记者的电话会议上,执行董事长Axel Dumas称,爱马仕今年在全球涨价了6%-7%。公司还将向超过25,000名员工发放4,500欧元(4,700美元)的奖金。

第四季度所有部门都实现了增长,包括遇到困难的手表业务。其最大业务部门 —— 皮革制品和马具 —— 销售额增长近22%,高于预期。去年的经常性营业收入也超出了预期。

该公司周五还宣布计划派发每股10欧元的特别股息。自今年年初以来,爱马仕股价已上涨逾20%。
