Bank Of Qingdao Co.,Ltd. has announced the successful completion of its 2026 first-tranche financial bond issuance, a move that underscores the lender's strategy to bolster its funding base and optimize its balance sheet structure.

According to the official corporate filing released on September 17, the bond offering, which was conducted under the Bond Connect scheme, received regulatory approval from the People's Bank of China. The bookbuilding process took place on September 15, 2026, with the bonds fully issued by September 17, 2026.

The issuance reached a total scale of RMB 4.5 billion, structured as three-year fixed-rate notes with a coupon rate of 1.59%. The proceeds from these bonds are earmarked to support the bank's asset-liability management needs, enrich its funding sources, and refine the maturity profile of its liabilities.
