公告指出，远东控股国际主营物业投资业务，自停牌以来集团整体业务营运维持正常。公司正积极寻求包括收购在内的机会，以优化投资物业组合，并拓展物业相关业务（如物业管理）。截至本公告日期，公司仅与潜在卖方进行了初步磋商，尚未落实具体计划或签订最终协议。若有重大进展，公司将依规另行公告。
