公告显示，公司可依据百慕达相关法律及香港上市规则，以可合法拨付的资金（包括公司可分配储备或股份溢价账户）进行购回。董事会认为，回购计划有助于提升股东回报或优化资本结构，并强调此举符合公司及股东整体最佳利益。
据悉，长江基建集团过去十二个月的股价在2025年4月曾低见每股45.25港元，于2026年2月曾高见每股67.80港元。董事会表示，将在合法权限及财务状况允许的情况下酌情行使此购回授权。
