此项收购将取代查特工业此前与福斯公司（FLS）达成的合并协议。该交易旨在强化贝克休斯在液化天然气、核能及数据中心领域布局。
财报显示，查特工业二季度调整后每股收益为2.59美元，高于去年同期的2.18美元，分析师预期为2.48美元。季度销售额为10.8亿美元，去年同期为10.4亿美元，分析师预期为11.1亿美元。
