China Evergrande New Energy Vehicle Group Limited (708) Discloses Court Acceptance of Subsidiary Bankruptcy Petition

China Evergrande New Energy Vehicle Group Limited (the “Company,” together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) reported receiving a ruling from the People’s Court of Binhai New District of Tianjin Municipality. According to the ruling, the court has accepted a creditor’s petition for bankruptcy and liquidation of Evergrande New Energy Vehicle (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

The subsidiary, with a registered capital of RMB4.1 billion, owns the Group’s Tianjin-based manufacturing facilities for smart mobility, where production has been suspended since January 2024.

Trading in the Company’s shares on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited has been suspended since 1 April 2025, awaiting publication of outstanding financial results and fulfillment of related resumption guidance, and will remain suspended until further notice.
