凯莱拉治疗公司（Kailera Therapeutics）与恒瑞医药（600276.SS）联合开发的实验性减肥药物在中国后期临床试验中表现亮眼。数据显示，超重患者体重减轻幅度最高达17.7%，88%的受试者在48周内至少减重5%，远超安慰剂组，成功达成研究核心目标。
这一成果突显美国制药企业正加速转向中国市场，以更低成本获取潜力药物权利及关键早期数据，为全球试验铺路。凯莱拉首席执行官Ron Renaud强调商业前景：“这为我们未来在肥胖治疗市场的布局提供了有力支点。”
去年成立的凯莱拉获得罕见4亿美元早期融资，并从恒瑞医药授权四款肥胖药物候选，旨在抢占2030年预计达1500亿美元的市场份额。KAI-9531作为每周注射剂，属于GLP-1类药物类别，与礼来（LLY）的Zepbound及诺和诺德（Novo Nordisk）的Wegovy类似，通过调控血糖水平和诱发饱腹感发挥作用。
首席商务官Jamie Coleman指出战略重点：“现有疗法对需减重超过20%的高BMI患者存在巨大未满足需求。”在567名参与者的试验中，6毫克剂量导致平均17.7%体重减轻，副作用轻微至中度且集中于胃肠道，与同类疗法一致。
恒瑞医药计划在中国推进监管审批，凯莱拉则将启动更高剂量和延长疗程的全球试验。今年早前中期研究显示，8毫克剂量可实现22.8%的平均减重效果。
