Byd Company Limited and the Dongrun Charity Foundation formally inked their partnership agreement on September 17 in Beijing, marking the official start of their collaboration through signing, plaque presentation, and gift exchanges at the ceremony.

Going forward, Byd Company Limited will back the Dongrun Cup National High School Football Tournament, channeling resources into campus football and strengthening the groundwork for youth football growth across China. According to Kong Dongmei, Chairperson of the Dongrun Charity Foundation, football stands as the world's premier sport, and young people carry the nation's future. She emphasized that the Dongrun Cup does more than scout athletic talent; it shapes character, nourishes the spirit, and empowers long-term development for youth. This alliance aims to broaden the tournament's charitable reach, offering more football-loving students a stage to chase their dreams while advancing the integration of sports and education.

Li Yunfei, General Manager of Byd Company Limited's Brand and Public Relations Division, remarked that while the company cannot take the field for these athletes, it can bring them to the pitch. He noted that football transcends boundaries and that competition venues come in all sizes, expressing the company's desire not only to give China's young footballers exposure to a wider world but also a platform to display their passion.

As a national 5A-level non-public fundraising foundation under the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Dongrun Charity Foundation initiated the Dongrun Cup, a representative charity football event for high schoolers, providing a stage for ordinary students from county-level schools in regions such as Xinjiang, Yunnan, Shaanxi, and Jiangxi. This year's competition spans more than 20 provinces and regions, benefiting 352 schools and over 4,000 players and coaches. The finals bring together 20 provincial champions to compete head-to-head.

Many aspiring footballers from county areas hold deep passion for the sport but lack access to professional tournaments and training equipment. Byd Company Limited will facilitate the provincial leagues and the finals of the Dongrun Cup, creating an equitable competitive platform for young athletes. In addition to hosting competitions across multiple levels, the project includes gear donations, free training sessions for grassroots coaches, and awards funding that will go directly toward school team development, addressing resource shortages in fundamental football education.
