Xinhua News Media (309) Announces Updated Board Composition and Committee Roles

Effective from 17 October 2025, Xinhua News Media Holdings Limited (309) has announced changes to its Board of Directors. The Board comprises eight members: Executive Directors include Chairman Lo Kou Hong and Cheung Kin Wa; Non-executive Directors are Wang Guan, Chen Yun, and Fong Man Julisa; and Independent Non-executive Directors include Wang Qi, Yau Pak Yue, and Leung Nga Tat.

Six Board committees oversee various governance functions: Audit, Executive, Remuneration, Strategy and Development, Nomination, and Corporate Governance. According to the announcement, Yau Pak Yue chairs both the Audit and Remuneration Committees while serving as a member of the other four. Wang Qi serves on the Audit, Remuneration, and Strategy and Development Committees. Wang Guan is a member of the Strategy and Development Committee. Leung Nga Tat serves as a member on all six committees.
