Prudential plc (02378) Announces Changes in Issued Shares and Share Repurchases

Prudential plc (02378) has announced a change in its share capital following recent repurchases and cancellations. As of 3 February 2026, the total number of issued ordinary shares stands at 2,542,168,907, reflecting a repurchase and cancellation of 299,227 shares at GBP 12.0204.

Additional repurchases for cancellation but not yet canceled total 317,142 shares (on 2 February 2026 at GBP 12.0211) and 265,056 shares (on 3 February 2026 at GBP 12.117).

A further repurchase report shows 265,056 shares repurchased on 3 February 2026 on the London Stock Exchange at prices ranging between GBP 12.005 and GBP 12.235, totaling GBP 3,211,694.06. Under the repurchase mandate of 14 May 2025, Prudential plc is authorized to repurchase up to 262,668,701 shares, with 64,853,427 shares already repurchased, representing 2.489977% of the issued shares at the time the mandate was granted.

A moratorium on issuing new shares or transferring repurchased shares is in effect until 5 March 2026, in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.
