Far East Orchard Limited announced that its United Kingdom subsidiary, Homes for Students Limited, received a Letter Before Action dated Feb, 13 2026 from an existing client seeking about GBP4.74 million in connection with a cyber-fraud incident.

The client has not commenced formal legal proceedings. Based on preliminary external legal advice, the company believes there are grounds to defend the claim and said it will vigorously contest any action that may follow.

Far East Orchard cautioned that a successful claim for the full amount could adversely affect the group’s profitability. The company added that its IT systems are independent of the client’s and have not been impacted, and that business operations continue as normal.

The board said it will provide further updates in accordance with Singapore Exchange listing rules and advised shareholders and investors to exercise caution when trading the company’s securities.
