EPI (Holdings) Limited (Stock Code: 689) Announces NZD2,000,000 Loan Facility to Sequoia Development Limited

EPI (Holdings) Limited (Stock Code: 689) has reported that its indirect wholly-owned New Zealand subsidiary, EPI ESG Investment (New Zealand) Limited, entered into a term loan agreement on 20 November 2025 with Sequoia Development Limited. The loan facility, valued at NZD2,000,000 (approximately HKD8,800,000), is set for a 12-month term at an annual interest rate of 8%.

According to the announcement, the facility is collateralized by a first mortgage on lands and properties located at 145 Albany Highway, Unsworth Heights, Auckland 0632, New Zealand, with a loan-to-value ratio of less than 30%. The guarantee for this transaction is provided by the sole director and shareholder of Sequoia Development Limited, who is an independent third party.

The company has stated that this loan arrangement supports its money lending business in New Zealand and follows credit assessments indicating low default risks. EPI (Holdings) Limited further notes that under the Listing Rules, the facility constitutes a discloseable transaction, subject to notification and announcement requirements, because one or more of the applicable percentage ratios exceed 5% but are below 25%.
