Hong Kong’s Executive received a Rule 22 filing on 1 June 2026 detailing UBS AG’s trading in A shares of ENN Natural Gas Co Ltd on 29 May 2026, undertaken in the context of the company’s proposed privatisation by way of scheme of arrangement.
UBS AG, acting as an exempt principal trader connected with the offeree, executed client-driven hedging transactions as follows:
• Purchases: 641,000 shares for a total consideration of RMB 12.48 million. • Sales: 298,800 shares for RMB 5.79 million.
The activity resulted in a net purchase of 342,200 shares, with a net cash outflow of approximately RMB 6.69 million. Transaction prices ranged from a low of RMB 19.18 to a high of RMB 19.60 per share. The weighted-average purchase price was around RMB 19.47, while the weighted-average sale price was about RMB 19.37.
UBS AG confirmed that the trades were conducted on its own account to hedge Delta 1 and other equity-related products arising from wholly unsolicited client orders. The bank is ultimately owned by UBS Group AG.
The disclosure is part of the ongoing reporting requirements linked to ENN Natural Gas’s contemplated privatisation under the Hong Kong Code on Takeovers and Mergers.
