China Everbright Environment Group Limited (Stock code: 257) announced the completion of its issuance of 2026 Medium-Term Notes (Series 1) on February 4, 2026. The total principal amount is RMB2 billion, with an interest rate of 2.15% per annum, and interest commencing on February 5, 2026. The maturity follows a 3+N(3) structure, redeemable by the company according to the issuance terms.
The net proceeds, after underwriting fees, will be used in full to repay the existing medium-term notes in the People’s Republic of China. This 2026 Medium-Term Notes (Series 1) offering was publicly placed among institutional investors in the inter-bank bond market in the PRC through centralized book-building. Everbright Securities served as lead underwriter, while Bank of China and China Construction Bank acted as joint lead underwriters.
In a related agreement, China Everbright Environment entered into an underwriting agreement with Everbright Securities, Bank of China, and China Construction Bank. The board of directors considers the terms to be reached on an arm’s length basis, representing fair and reasonable market terms in the ordinary course of the company’s business.
