Data released on February 9 by the Xinhua Oil Price System showed that the average price change rate for a basket of crude oils was 2.92% on February 6. According to China's Oil Pricing Mechanism, domestic gasoline and diesel prices are adjusted every ten working days based on changes in international crude oil prices, with new prices taking effect at 24:00 on the day the adjustment is announced. If the price adjustment is less than 50 yuan per ton, no change will be made, and the difference will be carried over to the next adjustment period. Under special circumstances as defined by the mechanism, price adjustments may be suspended, delayed, or implemented with a smaller margin. February 9 marks the fourth working day of the current pricing cycle. The next price adjustment window will open at 24:00 on February 24.
