Anhui Regulator Approves Insurance Business Transfer from Chang'an to Zhong'an

The Anhui Regulatory Bureau of the National Financial Regulatory Administration issued an official approval on August 28 regarding the transfer of insurance operations between two property and casualty insurers.

According to the regulatory filing, the bureau has greenlit Anhui Zhong'an Property Insurance Co., Ltd. to take over the insurance business of Chang'an Liability Insurance Co., Ltd., specifically covering the assets and obligations outlined in the jointly signed acquisition and takeover agreement between the two parties.

The financial watchdog emphasized that the transfer process must adhere strictly to all applicable laws, regulations, and supervisory requirements, ensuring that the legitimate rights and interests of policyholders, the insured, and beneficiaries remain fully protected throughout the transaction.
