Kunlun Energy repurchases 8.02 million shares for HKD 59.79 million; total share capital unchanged at 8.66 billion

Kunlun Energy Company Limited disclosed a series of on-market share buybacks between 25 March and 17 April 2026, involving 8.02 million ordinary shares that are earmarked for cancellation but were still outstanding as at 17 April 2026.

The repurchased shares represent 0.09% of the 8.66 billion issued shares recorded on 31 March 2026. Transaction prices ranged from HKD 7.36 to HKD 7.61 per share, translating into an aggregate consideration of HKD 59.79 million.

On 17 April 2026 alone, the company repurchased 842,000 shares at prices between HKD 7.36 and HKD 7.55, for a total of HKD 6.28 million.

Following the latest transactions, Kunlun Energy has utilised approximately 0.93% of the 865.88 million-share mandate approved on 29 May 2025. No treasury shares were retained, and the overall issued share count remains at 8.66 billion pending the formal cancellation of the repurchased shares.

Under Hong Kong Listing Rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares until 17 May 2026.
