On the evening of August 22nd, the "Chinese Dream·Labor Beauty - Follow the Party with Concentrated Hearts and Souls, Unite and Strive on New Journey" Guangdong Workers' Art Troupe cultural performance event reached the Qinghua Highway construction site, delivering a spiritual and cultural feast to frontline builders. More than 600 people, including representatives from relevant units and departments at all levels, model workers and craftsmen, and frontline enterprise employees, attended the performance.
The performance opened with the traditional dance "Oriental Charm," followed by 12 exciting programs including the song "Light of the Ordinary," the folk art piece "South Guangdong Craftsmen," the magic show "Magic Laboratory," and the acrobatic performance "Pride on the Iron Tower." These performances vividly showcased the characteristics, connotations, and spirit of "labor," as well as the spiritual outlook of workers in the new era.
The Qinghua Highway is a key construction project in Guangdong Province. It starts from Taihe Town, Qingxin District, Qingyuan City, connecting with the Shanzhan Highway, and ends at Tanbu Town, Huadu District, Guangzhou City, connecting with the West Second Ring Highway. The project passes through seven towns and one street in Guangzhou and Qingyuan cities, with a total length of 54 kilometers.
On August 22nd, the Beijiang Grand Bridge of the Qinghua Highway was illuminated. Four diamond-shaped main towers paired with "phoenix wing" tower crowns stand majestically over the Beijiang River. Once completed, the bridge will serve as a new landmark for Qingyuan.
According to reports, the main bridge structure of the Beijiang Grand Bridge is complex with high construction difficulty, making it currently the largest four-tower, double-cable-plane, bidirectional prestressed concrete beam cable-stayed bridge in China.
In the construction of the Qinghua Highway, smart beam yards have played the role of "intelligent engines." During the construction of four smart beam yards, the project actively absorbed cutting-edge technological achievements and conducted extensive scientific research. By utilizing BIM models, AI, and digital twin technologies, an integrated smart management center was built, achieving intelligent process recognition, intelligent production scheduling, and intelligent beam storage functions, realizing "cloud management" of smart beam yards.
Additionally, the project innovatively developed technologies such as "adjustable end formwork," "composite bottom formwork," and "post-cast transverse diaphragm," expanding the application scope of smart beam yards. The promotion and application of "dual-bin intelligent boxes" enables a single production line to achieve a daily capacity of 1.5 beam segments.
"Our total production task is 16,242 beam segments, and we have currently completed 15,587 segments. The high-quality precast beams have established a solid core foundation for the engineering quality of the Qinghua Highway," said Ma Dingle, Manager of the Engineering Technology Department at Guangdong Transport Investment Qinghua Highway Management Office.
After the Qinghua Highway opens to traffic, it will further improve the highway network of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, enhance the level of transportation connectivity between Guangzhou and Qingyuan cities, and promote coordinated regional economic development.
