The technology firm has entered into a $1.6 billion deal to acquire air-cooled Blackwell systems from Dell, which includes GPUs, servers, storage, networking equipment, and related services. The systems are planned for deployment at IREN's Childress, Texas campus, with commissioning targeted for early 2027. This procurement is expected to increase the company's annualized run-rate revenue to $4.4 billion from $3.7 billion upon full commissioning, significantly boosting future sales targets.

Additionally, analyst firm B. Riley adjusted its price target on IREN to $88 from $83 while maintaining a Buy rating, contributing to positive market sentiment. The deal underscores IREN's strategic expansion into AI infrastructure to meet growing global demand for computing power.
