Deep News
Aug 28
In recent years, Qingdao Port has leveraged Qingdao's geographical advantages and the clustering and radiating effects of the Qingdao SCO Demonstration Zone to actively serve and support maritime trade exchanges with Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries. The "Central Asia routes," "India-Pakistan routes," and "Japan-Korea-Qingdao-Central Asia" sea-rail intermodal transit container volumes have all shown significant year-on-year growth.
As of now, Qingdao Port operates 42 shipping routes connecting to SCO countries, reaching over 30 ports across SCO member nations, achieving "dual growth" in both cargo throughput and the development of new shipping routes.
