Prudential plc cancels 293k shares after latest buyback

Prudential plc announced that it cancelled 293,490 ordinary shares on Nov, 14 2025 following a share repurchase conducted on Nov, 12 2025. After the cancellation, the group’s issued share capital stands at 2,558,638,233 ordinary shares.

The company also disclosed that a further 548,198 shares (repurchased on Nov, 13-14 2025) remain pending cancellation.

Separately, Prudential plc bought back 273,186 shares on the London Stock Exchange on Nov, 14 2025 for an aggregate consideration of about 5 million Singapore dollars, paying between GBP 10.62 and GBP 10.795 per share. All shares repurchased will be cancelled.

Since receiving its current buyback mandate on May, 14 2025, Prudential plc has repurchased a total of 48,344,842 shares, equivalent to 1.856% of the company’s issued share capital at the mandate date. Under Hong Kong listing rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares until Dec, 14 2025.
