古里斯蒂姆巴透露，由于沙特阿拉伯对多国公民实施严格的签证政策，阿联酋境内大量旅客将阿曼视为唯一可行的撤离通道。本周一，非中东邻国居民的阿曼入境通道曾短暂关闭，导致其部分客户滞留边境区域。但封锁仅持续数小时便解除，周二跨境通行已完全恢复正常。
"若阿曼领空关闭，撤离通道将彻底中断"，古里斯蒂姆巴指出当前阿联酋直飞航班稀缺，食品进口也出现紊乱，"这正是最令人担忧的状况"。航空数据商Cirium统计显示，自上周六以来中东地区约3.2万架次航班中逾半数遭取消，巴林、卡塔尔、以色列及阿联酋的离港航班基本陷入停滞。
