科学与国际安全研究所所长戴维·奥布赖特指出，四月初的一次袭击目标为防空炮兵阵地。通过分析空客集团提供的卫星图像，他确认该防空阵地距布什尔核电站外围围栏仅70-110米，与核反应堆直线距离约1.5公里。
国际原子能机构此前警告，若反应堆遭受直接攻击，可能引发重大核事故。
奥布赖特在报告中称："发射体似乎摧毁了两座防空火炮武器，并导致邻近建筑坍塌。"据国际原子能机构4月4日通报，此次袭击造成一人死亡。
分析显示，伊朗似乎在布什尔周边部署了多个防空炮兵阵地。
