JPMorgan Chase (JPM.US) recently announced in an internal memorandum that Sunil Dhupelia, co-head of Asia-Pacific Equity Capital Markets (ECM) at the investment banking division, has been appointed as head of International Equity Capital Markets. According to the arrangement, Dhupelia will relocate from Hong Kong to London over the coming months to formally assume his new role. Meanwhile, Peihao Huang, the other co-head of Asia-Pacific ECM, will take over as the sole head of Asia-Pacific ECM and will report directly to Dhupelia going forward. The appointments were announced by Kevin Foley, JPMorgan's global head of capital markets. Industry insiders note that this personnel restructuring aims to further strengthen JPMorgan's strategic positioning in global and Asia-Pacific equity capital markets. As a leading global financial services institution, JPMorgan possesses substantial expertise in investment banking, capital markets, and asset management. This adjustment is viewed by the market as an important initiative by the company to continuously optimize its global capital markets management structure and promote cross-regional collaboration.
