During the review period, the Group seized market opportunities and achieved notable progress in brokerage, sponsorship, and underwriting businesses. Investment business income turned from a loss of HK$62 million in the same period last year to a gain of HK$61 million, primarily due to the significant decline in valuation of consolidated investment funds at the business level during the same period last year.

During the review period, the Group's wealth management business income remained basically flat compared to the same period last year. Driven by market recovery, fee and commission income reached HK$56.22 million, representing a substantial increase of approximately 77% compared to HK$31.69 million in the same period of 2024.

In terms of interest income, total income was HK$79.92 million, down 23% compared to the same period in 2024. Interest income from client loans accumulated to HK$39.79 million, slightly lower than the same period in 2024. Other interest income accumulated to HK$40.12 million, mainly affected by decreases in bank deposit rates and deposit balances, leading to a decline in this income category.
