LEGION CONSO (02129) announced that on June 18, 2025, and September 17, 2025 (after trading hours), its wholly-owned subsidiary Rejoice Container Services (Pte) Ltd entered into two separate purchase agreements with sellers to acquire container tractors.
Under Purchase Agreement I, the buyer will acquire Container Tractor I for a consideration of S$1.16 million (excluding goods and services tax). Under Purchase Agreement II, the buyer will acquire Container Tractor II for a consideration of S$580,000 (excluding goods and services tax).
The group currently operates a robust transportation fleet comprising 57 container tractors, 492 trailers, and 23 flatbed trucks, along with equipment including six front-end loaders, two Kalmars, and three forklifts. Additionally, the group operates three logistics yards and three warehouses with total areas of approximately 48,980 square meters and 32,343 square meters respectively. These facilities provide essential open-air storage services and form a crucial component of the group's integrated logistics and transportation services.
To meet anticipated growth in service demand and enhance fleet capacity, the group has entered into these purchase agreements to acquire additional container tractors. This investment is expected to strengthen the group's logistics infrastructure, improve service delivery capabilities, and support long-term business expansion.
The expanded fleet will enable the group to manage larger cargo volumes more flexibly, reduce dependence on third-party transportation suppliers, and ensure reliable delivery services. It will also facilitate improved fleet rotation and maintenance schedules, thereby minimizing downtime and optimizing asset utilization.
Overall, this acquisition will enhance the group's competitive advantage and operational flexibility in the evolving and growing logistics landscape.
