Cedric John Wing Fung Ko has resigned from his position as Head of Investment Manager for Deutsche Bank AG's Private Banking North Asia division after serving for more than 15 years. Ko, who was based in Hong Kong, had been leading the regional investment manager team for over four years. Deutsche Bank declined to provide further comments on this personnel change.

Deutsche Bank's private banking business is divided into wealth management and retail banking segments. Morgan Stanley previously released a research report stating that Deutsche Bank's private banking business represents an undervalued core growth driver with profit potential that could exceed market consensus. The report forecasts that private banking's contribution to group profits will increase from 26% in 2024 to 30% by 2027.
