The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) is about to open, and GE Aerospace, a multinational headquarters company based in Putuo District, will make its appearance. As a regular participant in the expo, GE Aerospace is a global leader in aerospace propulsion, services, and integrated systems. Established in 2018 as a key enterprise in Putuo District, its founding marked a significant step in GE's business expansion in China. This year, with support from the district's commerce commission, the company obtained certification as a regional headquarters for multinational corporations (batch No. 41).

GE Aerospace has been operating in China for 45 years, continuously investing in and expanding its presence in the Chinese market. It provides efficient, reliable, and environmentally advanced product and service solutions for China's civil aviation industry. Together with its joint venture CFM International (a partnership between GE Aerospace and Safran Aircraft Engines), the company serves over 60 airline customers in China, with more than 7,800 engines in operation.

At the 2024 CIIE, GE Aerospace highlighted its Revolutionary Innovation for Sustainable Engines (RISE) technology demonstration project and secured $2.2 billion in partnerships with five strategic clients, further deepening its commitment to China.

This year marks GE Aerospace's 45th anniversary in China and its eighth consecutive year participating in the CIIE. The company will debut two exhibits for the first time in China: a 1:2 scale model of the LEAP-1C engine—the "heart" of the C919 aircraft—placed at the center of its booth, and an interactive mixed-reality experience called "Touchable LEAP Engine," where visitors wearing MR glasses can observe and interact with a virtual engine up close. Additionally, the company plans to hold partnership signing ceremonies with clients during the expo.

GE Aerospace's booth is located at Hall 3, 3B3-02.
