DONGYUE GROUP (00189) gained over 5% in trading. As of press time, the stock was up 5.58% to HK$13.44, with turnover reaching HK$178 million.

On the news front, DONGYUE GROUP recently announced its interim results for 2025, reporting revenue of RMB 7.463 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 2.79%. Profit attributable to company shareholders reached RMB 779 million, surging 153.28% compared to the same period last year. Earnings per share stood at RMB 0.47.

According to the announcement, during the first half of the year, the overall economic environment remained volatile due to changes in external factors such as international tariff policies, which also impacted the fluorine and silicon chemical industry. Market demand for some products was weak, supply competition was intense, and product prices remained at low levels.

However, influenced by quota factors, prices of multiple products in the group's refrigerant business segment rose significantly, serving as a crucial support for performance and representing a rare development opportunity. The group, leveraging its years of experience in the refrigerant industry, secured substantial quotas and firmly seized this opportunity, benefiting significantly and driving substantial growth in the group's first-half performance.
