Circle Internet Group宣布，已向包括Andreessen Horowitz和贝莱德在内的一批投资者，预售了价值2.22亿美元的新型代币。

这款尚未正式推出的代币，将与Circle的Arc区块链挂钩。该网络于去年十月公布，是一个基于稳定币的底层架构。新代币被命名为ARC，其在Circle区块链上的功能定位，类似于以太坊网络中的以太币。然而，一个关键区别在于，Arc区块链将使用Circle自家的稳定币USDC来完成交易结算，这为整个生态系统注入了独特的稳定性和实用性元素。
值得注意的是，就在公布这一融资消息前不久，作为全球第二大稳定币发行商的Circle公布了其第一季度财报。数据显示，其当季净利润为5500万美元，较上年同期的6500万美元有所下滑。尽管利润承压，公司总营收却实现了20%的增长，达到6.94亿美元。这份喜忧参半的财报公布后，Circle的股价出现了显著下跌。
