On April 29, a delegation led by Zhan Jiaxiang, Deputy Director of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, conducted a research and guidance visit to GLOBAL NEW MAT International's Tonglu project, which has an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of synthetic mica. The purpose was to gain an in-depth understanding of the company's production operations, technological innovation, and project advancement, accurately identify its development needs, and provide strategic direction for its high-quality growth. The delegation toured the project's production site to observe the final stages of construction and the operational status of the production lines. They inquired in detail about the product development process, key technological breakthroughs, and quality control standards, engaging in cordial exchanges with technical and production management staff to thoroughly understand the production techniques, performance advantages, and market applications of synthetic mica, while experiencing firsthand the efficiency and standardization of the company's intelligent manufacturing. Subsequently, the delegation attentively listened to work reports covering project construction, production operations, technological innovation, future plans, and current development challenges, affirming the achievements made by the company in various areas. Zhan Jiaxiang emphasized that the new materials industry is a key sector within Zhejiang's "415X" advanced manufacturing cluster. As a critical core material within this cluster, synthetic mica serves as an important foundation for supporting high-end manufacturing and ensuring the autonomy and controllability of industrial and supply chains, holding significant strategic value and industrial relevance, and aligning with national policies aimed at promoting high-quality development of the real economy and accelerating industrial transformation and upgrading. He expressed hope that the company would establish and deepen its roots in Tonglu, fully leverage international resource advantages, remain committed to the real economy, and focus on its core responsibilities with dedication and meticulous effort. The company should continue to increase R&D investment, deepen technological breakthroughs, drive product upgrades toward high-end and customized solutions, and continuously enhance its core competitiveness. It should also accelerate the pace of capacity release, optimize production management processes, strengthen quality and safety safeguards, and strive to become a world-class benchmark enterprise in the new materials sector. He stated that the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology will continue to fulfill its functional role by providing active support in areas such as policy assistance and resource allocation to help the company overcome development challenges and achieve quality and efficiency improvements. Jin Zengqin, Executive Director and Vice President of GLOBAL NEW MAT International and General Manager of Zhejiang Hongzun Technology, expressed sincere gratitude for the care and support from the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, the county party committee, county government, and various functional departments.
