Techtronic Industries Company Limited (Techtronic Ind) disclosed that it bought back 150,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange between 12 and 20 August 2026 for an aggregate HK$21.26 million. The volume-weighted average repurchase price was HK$141.73 per share, with individual daily prices ranging between HK$138.42 and HK$144.91.

Key take-aways 1. Scale of buyback • Shares repurchased but not yet cancelled: 150,000, equal to 0.008% of Techtronic Ind’s outstanding 1.83 billion shares. • Daily repurchase volumes were 20,000–25,000 shares, including 20,000 shares acquired on 20 August at HK$138.60–142.40, costing HK$2.81 million.

2. Impact on share capital • Opening and closing issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) remained unchanged at 1,827.72 million shares because the repurchased stock had not yet been cancelled as of 20 August. • Once cancelled, the current batch will marginally reduce the share count by 0.008%.

3. Repurchase capacity • The existing mandate approved on 8 May 2026 authorises buybacks of up to 182.98 million shares. • Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 2.91 million shares, representing 0.16% of the issued share base at the mandate date, leaving ample headroom for further activity.

4. Post-buyback restrictions • In line with Hong Kong listing rules, Techtronic Ind is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury share sales until 19 September 2026.

The company confirmed that all repurchases were executed on the Exchange, fully authorised by the board, and compliant with Hong Kong listing regulations.
