Recently, CLP Holdings' Northwest Institute announced its successful bid for two significant projects in Hubei: the 20 million tons/year aggregate sand production project (Phase III) with Yangxin Wanshi Mining Green Environmental Materials Co., Ltd., and the 4 million tons/year Jiulongshan mining area construction project (EPC+O) with Jiayu County Natural Resources Construction Development Co., Ltd.
The 20 million tons/year aggregate sand production project is located in Fuchi Town, Yangxin County, Huangshi City, Hubei Province, with a designed production capacity of 2,500 tons per hour. The project design includes the aggregate production line and other supporting facilities. Established in March 2020, Wanshi Mining was jointly funded by Wanshi Group and the state-owned mining investment company of Yangxin County, with a total investment of approximately 450 million yuan. It has pioneered a new model of interconnected cooperation between private enterprises and government platforms, boasting mineral resources of 130 million tons, three self-built docks handling tens of thousands of tons, with a belt corridor directly connecting to the docks for shipping. The high-quality green mining aggregate production line with an annual capacity of 10 million tons officially commenced operations in January 2022.
The Jiulongshan mining area construction project (EPC+O) is situated in Gaotailing Town, Jiayu County, Xianning City, Hubei Province. Led by Jiayu County Natural Resources Construction Development Co., Ltd., this project has an investment of approximately 611 million yuan and plans for a mining scale of 4 million tons per year. It will also build a processing production line with a designed capacity of 1,100 tons per hour, offering products such as flux limestone, flux dolomite, machine-made sand, and high-calcium stones. The design content encompasses not only mining operations but also processing area construction and other supporting works.
The project was awarded to a consortium led by CLP Holdings Northwest Institute, Nuclear Industry Huzhou Survey and Planning Design Institute, and Nuclear Industry Well Tunnel Construction Group, with a winning bid of 217 million yuan.
