CGN New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. filed a Next Day Disclosure Return with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 30 September 2026, detailing share repurchase activity carried out throughout the month.

From 1–30 September 2026 the company bought back 12.89 million ordinary shares for cancellation at an estimated volume-weighted average price of HKD 2.08 per share, implying a total consideration of roughly HKD 26.87 million. Pricing during the period fluctuated between HKD 1.995 and HKD 2.17 per share.

The largest single-day purchase occurred on 28 September, when 1.29 million shares were repurchased at an average HKD 2.02 each. On the final trading day of the month (30 September), CGN New Energy acquired 856,000 shares on the Exchange for HKD 1.74 million.

All repurchased shares are earmarked for cancellation; however, as of 30 September they had not yet been cancelled, leaving the issued share capital unchanged at 4.29 billion shares. The September buy-backs represent approximately 0.30% of the company’s existing issued shares.

Under the shareholder mandate approved on 28 May 2026, CGN New Energy is authorised to repurchase up to 428.99 million shares (10% of shares outstanding at that date). Cumulative repurchases since the mandate’s adoption now total 12.89 million shares, utilising about 3.01% of the authorised limit. In line with Hong Kong Listing Rules, the company is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 30 October 2026.

Chairman and Executive Director Hu Guangyao confirmed that all transactions were executed on the Exchange and complied with applicable regulations, with full payment received for the repurchased shares.
