At this evening's 2026 Xiaomi autumn flagship new product launch event, Xiaomi Group founder, chairman, and CEO Lei Jun took the stage to introduce the newly unveiled Xiaomi Pengcheng N70. Positioned as a mid-to-large five-seat extended-range SUV, the vehicle's interior space became a key highlight of Lei Jun's presentation, with claims that set a new benchmark in cabin comfort.
Lei Jun emphasized that the cabin's usable area reaches an expansive 4 square meters, supported by five ultra-long slide rails, the longest stretching 1.56 meters. This design allows the second-row seats to adjust over a remarkable 600-millimeter range. Under standard seating conditions, second-row legroom measures 1,014 millimeters, ensuring that even passengers up to 1.9 meters tall can sit with ample space to spare.
The second row also delivers exceptional lateral room, comfortably accommodating three adults seated side by side without any sense of crowding. When the second-row seats are pushed to their rearmost position, legroom extends beyond 1,400 millimeters—a full 50% more spacious than similarly sized rivals. Lei Jun went on to note that this surpasses even the legroom found in the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, making it one of the most generous cabins in its class.
“For those who are 1.9 meters tall, you can stretch your legs out completely without even coming close to the front seats. I welcome all long-legged enthusiasts to come and give it a try,” Lei Jun added, in a playful invitation to potential buyers to experience the space firsthand.
