Ping An Executive Addresses Stock Volatility: Undervalued Shares Poised for Brighter Future

At the 2025 performance briefing held on March 27, Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd. addressed concerns regarding future stock performance. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Fu Xin stated that recent volatility across the broader market, influenced by capital market conditions and geopolitical factors, has affected numerous companies, not solely Ping An. The company's investment division is closely monitoring these developments.

Regarding Ping An's own stock price, Fu Xin highlighted three key assessment dimensions. First, the industry outlook is positive. The 15th Five-Year Plan has elevated the importance of sectors such as finance, healthcare, elderly care, and technology, where customer demand remains robust. Ping An's life insurance business has entered a golden period of development, while its integrated finance and healthcare/elderly care segments show significant potential. These strong industry foundations support sustainable growth for Ping An over the next 3-5 years and beyond.

Second, the company's operational performance is solid. Ping An has demonstrated steady results, with forward-looking operational indicators continuing to improve, reflecting robust management, optimized operational capabilities, and high-value growth.

Third, valuation remains a key factor. Echoing Chairman Ma Mingzhe's view that "gold will always shine," Fu Xin noted that while the market and investors have shown considerable recognition for Ping An over the past two years, the company's current valuation is still low. She expressed confidence that increasing investor recognition will make "the shine of our gold" grow brighter.
