CATL Calls 12 August 2026 EGM to Vote on Subsidiary Bond Issuance, Management Pay Policy, Derivatives Trading and A-Share Buyback

Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) has scheduled its first extraordinary general meeting of 2026 for 3:00 p.m. on 12 August 2026 at the company’s headquarters in Ningde, Fujian Province, China.

At the meeting, shareholders will deliberate three ordinary resolutions and one special resolution:

1. General mandate for a CATL subsidiary to issue bonds. 2. Adoption of a Management System for the Remuneration of Directors and Senior Management. 3. Authorisation for CATL subsidiaries to engage in futures and other derivatives trading. 4. (Special resolution) Approval of an A-share repurchase plan.

Voting on all resolutions will be conducted by poll in accordance with Hong Kong Listing Rules. Shareholders recorded on 12 August 2026 will be eligible to vote; the share register will be closed from 10 to 12 August 2026 to determine entitlements. Proxy forms must be submitted to Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services by 3:00 p.m. on 11 August 2026 for H-share holders wishing to vote by proxy.
