Prudential plc repurchases and cancels 0.79 million shares on LSE

Prudential plc (PRU) reported that it bought back a total of 794,515 ordinary shares of 5 pence each on the London Stock Exchange under its share-buyback programme authorised at the 2025 AGM.

The purchases, executed by JP Morgan Securities plc on Jun, 29 2026 and Jun, 30 2026, were made at volume-weighted average prices of 10.0450 pence and 10.0678 pence, respectively. The lowest price paid was 9.9240 pence and the highest was 10.1350 pence.

All repurchased shares have been cancelled, reducing the company’s total shares in issue and voting rights to 2,510,209,955.

Since the programme started on Jan, 06 2026, Prudential plc has acquired 43,737,014 ordinary shares at a volume-weighted average price of 1,096.2799 pence per share.
