UBS Global Wealth Management (UBS GWM) has strengthened its China cross-border operations with the appointment of Seamus Yin as Head of the China Market Team, according to media reports. Based in Hong Kong, Yin will report directly to Marina Lui, Head of UBS Wealth Management China and Managing Director.

In addition to his primary role, Yin will also serve as Head of Onshore Sales for UBS Wealth Management China, working closely with Lui and the onshore management team to advance the firm's strategic priorities. His focus will be on integrating offshore-onshore business synergies to drive sustained growth in the region. Concurrent with this restructuring, Desmond Huang will remain with UBS in a newly created position, collaborating with Lui on client identification (KYC), client reviews, and quality control initiatives.

Morgan Private Bank. During his career, he has dedicated more than ten years to serving China's top-tier entrepreneur clientele. Prior to joining UBS, Yin served as Managing Director and Head of the Hong Kong and Greater China Ultra-High-Net-Worth Market Group at EFG. Before that, he held the position of Managing Director and Head of West and South China at Citi Private Bank, a role he assumed in 2014. His earlier career includes a tenure at J.P.
