Shangri-La Asia Limited announced on Dec, 05 2025 that its wholly owned subsidiary, Shangri-La International Hotel Management Pte. Ltd., has entered into a seven-year tenancy offer for office premises at Great World City in Singapore.
The lease, commencing Jan, 01 2026, covers Units #16-09/10/11/11A/12 in the West Lobby. It carries a monthly rent of about 0.05 million Singapore dollars and a current monthly service charge of roughly 0.01 million Singapore dollars.
Applying accounting standards, the arrangement represents a right-of-use asset valued at around 4.2 million Singapore dollars.
The landlord, GWC Commercial Pte. Ltd., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Allgreen Properties Limited, an associate of Kerry Holdings Limited, a substantial shareholder of Shangri-La Asia. As a result, the deal is classified as a connected transaction under Hong Kong listing rules, requiring disclosure but not independent shareholder approval because it falls below the 5% size threshold.
Shangri-La Asia said the new space will serve as its corporate offices in Singapore and noted that the rental terms are in line with prevailing market rates.
