船舶经纪商数据显示，受亚洲需求激增影响，目前至少有20艘液化天然气运输船被困于波斯湾——这一数量相当于全球可用船队的半数，导致日租金价格急剧飙升。
雅典天然气运输公司Gaslog首席运营官科斯塔斯·卡拉萨诺斯表示："局势十分严峻，无论冲突何时结束，都将对市场产生持久影响。"该公司旗下运营34艘天然气运输船。
全球约20%的液化天然气出口源自海湾地区。然而现阶段，仅有少数船舶能够通过霍尔木兹海峡，且卡塔尔能源公司等企业的生产设施遭袭后已陷入停产。
船舶经纪商指出，被困波斯湾的20艘船舶占当前全球可租用液化天然气船队的近半数，日租金已从伊朗冲突爆发前的9.8万美元以下飙升至20万美元以上。
能源交易商预计，液化天然气价格将在下周初迎来上涨，延续本周亚欧市场已达40%的涨幅。卡拉萨诺斯预测："液化天然气运输受到的影响将持续至冲突结束后数月。"
