REPT BATTERO (00666) saw its shares rise more than 7% during the trading session. By the time of writing, the stock had climbed 5.96% to HK$16.19, with a turnover of HK$55.30 million.

Reports indicate that domestic energy storage cell production capacity has entered a phase of widespread supply shortage. Leading companies in the sector have already scheduled orders for energy storage cells extending to the end of the first quarter of 2027. Spot prices for these cells have rebounded significantly from their lows in 2025, marking a shift in pricing power within the industry.

Additionally, production scheduling for energy storage cells hit a new high in April, with top manufacturers beginning to be more selective about orders.

Notably, REPT BATTERO's 2025 financial results showed a significant improvement. The group reported revenue of RMB 24.334 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 36.74%. Gross profit reached RMB 2.721 billion, up 269.24% compared to the previous year. The profit attributable to owners of the parent company was RMB 623 million, turning a loss into a profit year-on-year.

According to statistics from Shanghai Metals Market, in 2025, the group ranked among the top five globally in terms of energy storage cell shipments and was the world's leading supplier of residential energy storage cells.
