Xiaomi CFO Lin Shiwei Receives Golden Mi Bunny Award for Five Years of Service

On October 9, Lin Shiwei, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of XIAOMI-W, posted on social media to commemorate his five-year anniversary with the company. He shared a photo with founder Lei Jun, showing Lei Jun personally presenting him with the "Golden Mi Bunny" commemorative award, which symbolizes five years of service.

The "Golden Mi Bunny" represents an important milestone honor established by Xiaomi for its employees. Every employee who completes five years of service receives this specially commemorative award in recognition of their long-term contributions.

According to public records, Lin Shiwei was born in October 1973 and obtained a Master's degree in Engineering from Oxford University in August 1998. He currently serves as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of XIAOMI-W, while also holding the position of Chairman at Tianxing Digital Technology. He officially joined XIAOMI-W in 2020, taking full responsibility for the company's financial management operations.

Prior to joining Xiaomi, Lin Shiwei possessed extensive international financial experience. From 2016 to 2020, he served as Managing Director at Credit Suisse Hong Kong, overseeing investment banking operations for the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors across Asia. Earlier in his career, from 1997 to 2015, he held various positions at Morgan Stanley, working in offices across London, New York, Menlo Park, and Hong Kong, accumulating substantial experience spanning European, American, and Asia-Pacific markets.

In June 2025, Lin Shiwei topped the "Best Chief Financial Officer" rankings in the technology hardware sector in a professional assessment focusing on Asian corporate governance standards. This recognition reflects widespread acknowledgment of his professional capabilities in financial management, capital operations, and investor relations.

Previously, the Chief Financial Officer position at XIAOMI-W was held by Zhou Shouzi. Starting in July 2015, Zhou Shouzi was responsible for the company's financial system and led Xiaomi's IPO process. In March 2021, Zhou Shouzi announced his departure and subsequently joined ByteDance as Chief Financial Officer, later taking on management responsibilities for TikTok as well.

In fact, Lin Shiwei had already assumed the role of Group Chief Financial Officer in October 2020, before Zhou Shouzi's formal departure, ensuring a smooth transition.
