Xuanzhu Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. released its unaudited interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2026. Revenue rose to RMB 69.44 million, an increase of 288.10% year-on-year, driven by expanded sales of An Jiu Wei (Anaprazole Sodium) and first-time contributions from Xuan Yue Ning (Bireociclib) following its inclusion in China’s National Reimbursement Drug List.

Operating expenses fell 22.20% to RMB 93.40 million, reflecting lower R&D spending after approvals of core oncology products. As a result, net loss narrowed to RMB 75.34 million, down 32.10% from the prior-year period.

Gross profit reached RMB 15.33 million, while gross margin dropped to 22.10% (1H 2025: 57.00%) due to price adjustments on reimbursement-listed products. R&D expense declined 67.10% to RMB 27.50 million, accounting for 29.60% of total R&D outlays on core assets.

Cash and cash equivalents stood at RMB 508.47 million, and net assets totaled RMB 1.29 billion. The gearing ratio remained stable at 19.60%. No interim dividend was declared.

Operationally, the company secured NMPA approval of Bireociclib’s first-line breast-cancer indication in March 2026, advanced Phase III trials for Anaprazole Sodium’s H. pylori indication, and completed out-licensing deals covering 21 MENA markets. Xuanzhu also transitioned 357.25 million unlisted shares into H shares under the full-circulation programme in May 2026.

The board confirmed compliance with the Corporate Governance Code and the Model Code for securities dealings. Audit Committee review yielded no qualification on the interim financial information.
