Tai Sin Electric announces board reshuffle and new advisor

Tai Sin Electric Limited disclosed multiple board and committee changes after its annual general meeting on Oct, 31 2025.

The company said Non-Executive Director Lim Chye Huat will retire at the close of the AGM and step down as board chairman as well as member of the Audit and Risk Committee, Nominating Committee and Remuneration Committee. He will become Advisor to the Board from Nov, 1 2025 until Jun, 30 2027.

Independent Director Renny Yeo Ah Kiang will assume the role of board chairman on Nov, 1 2025. Yeo will relinquish his positions as lead independent director and chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee but will stay on the committee as a member.

Independent Director Yeo Rankin Brandt will take over as chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee on Nov, 1 2025, and will continue as a member of the Remuneration Committee.

Independent Director Seow Boon Teng will become chairman of the Remuneration Committee effective Nov, 1 2025, while remaining chairman of the Nominating Committee and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.

Separately, the company appointed Tan Yong Hwa, its current chief financial officer, as an executive director starting Nov, 1 2025.

Following these changes, the board will comprise five directors: chairman Renny Yeo Ah Kiang; independent directors Seow Boon Teng and Yeo Rankin Brandt; and executive directors Lim Boon Hock Bernard (chief executive officer) and Tan Yong Hwa (chief financial officer).
