IMPACT THERAP-B Surges Over 11% in Early Trading Following Exclusive Licensing Deal for Cancer Drug Senaparib

IMPACT THERAP-B (07630) saw its share price climb more than 11% in early trading, reaching a high of HK$12.79, representing an 11.02% gain, with trading volume reaching HK$996,900.

On July 30, the company announced an exclusive partnership with global specialty pharmaceutical company Pharmanovia. Under the agreement, IMPACT THERAP-B grants Pharmanovia exclusive rights to manufacture, develop, and commercialize Senaparib as a single-agent maintenance therapy for advanced epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, and primary peritoneal cancer across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

The deal could bring IMPACT THERAP-B total payments of up to €423.5 million, including an upfront payment, near-term regulatory milestone payments, commercial milestone payments tied to achieving specific sales thresholds, and tiered royalties based on net product sales reaching up to the mid-twenty percent range.

According to the relevant licensing agreement for this exclusive collaboration, IMPACT THERAP-B grants Pharmanovia exclusive production, research and development, and commercialization rights for Senaparib as a single-agent maintenance therapy in 66 countries, including all 27 European Union member states, the United Kingdom, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Australia, New Zealand, and countries in the Middle East and North Africa region.
