Cowell e Holdings has released its standalone 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, outlining strengthened governance, aggressive decarbonisation plans and measurable progress across environmental and social indicators.
Governance and Targets • Board-led oversight has embedded ESG into corporate strategy via a three-tier management structure. • Climate roadmap commits to achieving carbon-neutral operations by 2028, with interim goals that include a 1 % year-on-year cut in both energy and water intensity by 2026 and a 2 % annual reduction in waste per unit of output. • Remuneration for directors and senior management is now linked to energy-saving, safety and supply-chain metrics.
Environmental Performance • Group greenhouse-gas emissions in 2025 totalled 73,647.26 tCO₂e, comprising 2,531.41 t (Scope 1) and 71,115.85 t (Scope 2). • Energy use reached 160.93 million kWh of electricity, 231,004 m³ of natural gas and 39,510.99 L of gasoline/diesel, equal to 20,132.53 t of standard coal. Electricity accounted for 98.24 % of energy consumed. • Water withdrawal was 659,435 m³, with efficiency targets to trim usage per revenue by 1 % by 2026. • Dongguan Cowell’s facility ran on 100 % green electricity for the third consecutive year, underpinned by 15.04 million kWh of green-power purchases and 145.88 thousand MWh of green credits. • Solid-waste recycling rate improved to 97.53 %; hazardous waste generation fell to 30.49 t.
Certifications & Awards All operating entities now hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and newly obtained ISO 50001 energy-management accreditation. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology again named Cowell a “National Green Factory”, while Guangdong authorities recognised it as a “Green Supply Chain Management Enterprise”.
Product Responsibility & Innovation • No product recalls or major compliance breaches were recorded. Customer-satisfaction score reached 97.52. • 269 patents were granted during 2025, with 201 new applications filed. • Smart-vision inspection and AI-driven production cockpits lifted yields and trimmed manual intervention.
Supply-Chain Oversight • Supplier base rose to 342, with 100 % signing the code of conduct and undergoing CSR audits. • All 3TG minerals are sourced from RMAP-certified smelters, ensuring full traceability and conflict-free compliance.
Human Capital & Safety • Workforce stood at 5,947; turnover rate was 15.65 %. • Training coverage hit 100 %, averaging 39.78 hours per employee. • No work-related fatalities occurred; seven minor injuries translated into an accident rate of 0.07 per 1,000 employees and 197 lost workdays. • Enhanced chemical-safety and fire-risk controls featured AGV-battery protection and plant-wide ignition-source bans.
Community and Education Cowell deepened industry–academia partnerships with universities, set up employment bases, and engaged in community initiatives, including support for senior citizens. Employees contributed around 50 volunteer hours during the year.
