COUNTRY GARDEN (02007) opened sharply higher by over 14%. As of press time, the stock was up 14.58% to HK$0.55, with trading volume reaching HK$31.3302 million.

On the news front, both the Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange issued announcements regarding constituent stock adjustments to the Hang Seng Composite LargeCap Index, MidCap Index, and SmallCap Index, taking effect from September 8. Among the changes, COUNTRY GARDEN was added to the Stock Connect eligible stock list.

Notably, major first-tier cities including Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen have recently implemented optimized property purchase restriction policies. Guotai Junan Securities noted that property transaction volumes are expected to rebound entering the fourth quarter, helping fundamentals further stabilize and recover. Considering the improved expectations for Federal Reserve rate cuts stimulating liquidity and the currently low valuations in the property sector, the firm recommends allocating to property stocks on market dips.
