周四,纳微半导体盘前狂飙190%!公司宣布与英伟达合作开发下一代800V高压直流(HVDC)架构,为包括Rubin Ultra在内的GPU提供支持的"Kyber"机架级系统供电。纳微的氮化镓和碳化硅技术将在这一合作中发挥关键作用。
有媒体指出,这代表了数据中心基础设施领域的重大技术飞跃,特别是在支撑吉瓦级AI计算负载方面,纳微的技术将一定程度上大幅提升能效并降低铜材使用量。
现代AI数据中心需要吉瓦(GW)级的电力来满足不断增长的AI计算需求。据报道,当前的数据中心架构使用传统的54V机架内配电系统,功率限制在几百千瓦(kW)。这种架构需要使用笨重的铜母线将低压电力从机架安装的电源架传输到计算托盘。当功率增加到200kW以上时,这种架构因功率密度、铜材需求和系统效率降低等问题而达到物理极限。
英伟达的方案是在数据中心外围直接将13.8kV交流电网电力转换为800V高压直流,使用固态变压器(SST)和工业级整流器,消除多个交流/直流和直流/直流转换步骤,最大限度地提高效率和可靠性。
