Truly International (00732.HK) announced last Thursday (March 12) that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Truly Opto-Electronics, will acquire a 5.7143% equity interest in Truly (RenShou) High-End Display Technology Co., Ltd. for RMB503 million. Based on the transaction price, the overall valuation of Truly (RenShou) is approximately RMB8.8 billion. Following the completion of this acquisition, Truly International's stake in Truly (RenShou) will increase from the current 29.69% to approximately 35.41%.

Established in 2017 and located in Renshou County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province, Truly (RenShou) is a high-end liquid crystal display company. It primarily engages in the research, development, production, and operation of semiconductor products such as thin-film transistor (TFT-LCD) liquid crystal displays and display modules, as well as other consumer electronics including tablets, smart wearable products (such as smart electronic watches, smart bands, and smart glasses), and core components.
